This year, Engaging Young Entrepreneurs is introducing…
en-GAGE With Careers!
A spin-off from our original en-GAGE Event, en-GAGE With Careers will be focused on career development within business and entrepreneurship.
The two days of speaker presentations and workshops will be held at the DDQIC Event Commons in Mitchell Hall on December 4th and 5th of 2019. Youth across Kingston in Grades 8 to 12 are invited, Grade 8s for the 4th and Grades 9 to 12 for the 5th (high school students will be given the option to attend individual periods or the full day).
Through en-GAGE With Careers, we hope to…
- Introduce youth to business, entrepreneurship, and their respective pathways
- Inform them of opportunities and resources available in relation to career development
- Inspire creativity and innovation
This will all be done through speaker presentations given by university students and community members, paired with interactive workshops, run by our team and external organizations, for the students to partake in directly after.
Through this event, we hope for to continue helping all youth get a grip on business and entrepreneurship, and that they are able to learn, interact with others, and apply the information that they gain to their own lives and careers.
